Respiratory protection
Qualitative Face Fit Testing
Practical face fit testing for tight-fitting disposable and half-mask respirators, carried out by David Dolan-Davis following qualitative fit tester training.
Testing, not just awareness
Face Fit Awareness explains respiratory protection and the importance of a suitable fit. A face fit test checks the fit of a specific make, model and size of tight-fitting respirator on the individual wearer.
- In-person qualitative testing — not an e-learning session or toolbox talk
- For suitable disposable and half-mask respirators; not full-face masks
- Discuss your respirator make, model and size before booking
- Wearers must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals against the face
A fit test does not replace selecting appropriate respiratory protection for the hazard, wearer training or a seal check each time the respirator is put on. Contact Dave to confirm suitability and arrangements.
